Come To Papa

My son’s 11th birthday is just 2 weeks away, it seems like yesterday, we just observed his 1st birthday. For purposes of convenience, we held the party then in a kiddie restaurant so the birthday party favors and party supplies will not be a problem. As if the thought of having a party is not yet a good reason to celebrate, our son even made his first steps on his own giving us more reason to celebrate.

My son’s name is Elhav, meaning gift of God. It was taken from two hebrew words (1) El for God and (2) Hav for gift. He came to our life only after 5 years of marriage. Wifey has retroverted uterus, and though a lot of people said it’s difficult for her to conceive a child, nothing is hard to the God we believe. We prayed and kept on believing, and we were gifted not only of Elhav, but also a daughter and we named her Elgene. Her name meant God of beginnings (El for God, Gene a variant of the first book of the Bible, Genesis, which means beginning).
