While restrictions on blogs and bloggers are being imposed on other countries, it can not be said on the Philippines. Filipinos are blessed with democracy. There are 3 freedoms that I particularly cherish, the one to chose your own leader, the freedom to embrace a Faith and the liberty to spread it, and the freedom of expression.
Thus, blogs, of any kind and niche, flourish in our part of the world.
As a matter of illustration, a Cabinet Secretary and his Mayor son came under fire from public opinion because of the allegedmauling of a 56 year old man and 14 year old boy. This, perhaps, will not be possible, if the incident was not blogged by a relative who witnessed the incident. Read more…
You have no idea how stressed I was today because of some office bloopers. I came home tired… and closed to being discouraged.
I was browsing my phone trying to find sleep only to find some of my kids clips when they were playing with my phone. This one made me smile. Maybe the characters involve were my kids, but the genuine fun they had and the creative juices that flow washed my burdens away.
The 1st ever Word Camp event in South East Asia commenced yesterday in the Philippines, with Mr. WordPress himself, Matt Mullenweg in attendance.
Close to 400 bloggers trooped to De La Salle University- College of Saint Benilde to have fun, learn about blogging from basics to tech and geek stuffs, connect with other bloggers and get personal with Matt.
As expected, different shops had their marketing gig to cash on the wives and children who wish to honor their dad on this special day.
But you know what? The Manila Police District, yeah, Manila’s Finest, performed a mini concert at SM City Manila’s entertainment area. Am not sure if the the Southern Police District have theirs at SM Mall Of Asia, or the other districts have their own gig groups.
