Pacquiao KO’s Diaz on 9th Round
Video Clip of the 9th round knock out HERE

Update 11:55 AM:
David Diaz, the lightweight champ was knocked down by Manny Pacquiao on 9th round. This was a great day for Filipinos and Asians as a whole. He is the first Asian to win 4 titles in 4 different weight divisions.
The PacMan is precise on his moves, unlike his last bout with Juan Manuel Marquez. He is dominant from the first round. He made a punching bag out of the champion who was badly beaten with cuts and bruises all over his face.
David Diaz, however, is a tough nut to crack. He absorbed all the power punches of Manny and traded blows as well. Not until the 9th round that his bulky body can’t withdstand the beatings anymore. It was lights out as he goes down with closed eyes. He was lying flat on the floor for a long time. I even thought he would not wake up.
Manny ‘The PacMan” Pacquiao made all of us Filipinos proud. Indeed, he is the best pound for pound fighter. He is right on track for his “drive for five” goal. His next aim is to conquer the 140 lb. division.
Mabuhay and Pilipinas.

Go Metal
Have you seen an office made of container vans?
These are very common on construction sites. What about houses built on metal or metal buildings ? Some may find it weird but this is becoming a trend. The advantages outweighs the cons. Metals are fire proof, the pre-engineered ones are easier to build and saves the owner time and money. Add to the fact the publicity on conserving nature and saving trees, the need for logs were replaced by steel. Just look at these pics from Apex Building Systems, major supplier of Pre-engineered Metal Buildings.

Life When Fuel Cost Is High
While waiting for our turn to get our fill at the gasoline station Friday night, you can notice the griming faces of other motorists. The prices of fuel has increased beyond our imagination, and still increasing. Thanks to the speculators, who were also blamed for the financial crisis that hit Asia on the late 90’s. Thanks also to OPEC who insisted there is no need to increase production that led to limited supply, whether this is just a perception or real. Not to be outdone are the tensions in Nigeria, the impending attack of Israel to Iran and the middle east as a whole.
The crazy petrol prices have caused sharp increase on inflation driving the prices of food and other commodities higher. This have prompted workers to demand for higher wages, that may lead to closure of small enterprises resulting to more unemployment. With the decrease purchasing power and the uncertainty in the air, people will spend less and little money will circulate in the system. This will lead to more woes.
