I was in the office when I received an email about the hostage taking in Manila (a portable AM Radio would have been faster). I Followed the link at CNN and discovered it was just across the street from where wifey is working. I gave her a call and she confirmed the hostage taking. I almost rushed to her but she assured me that everything is peaceful in the area sans the resulting traffic.
