“Own Your Brand” by Mike Wagner is one of the blogs I often check. In one of his post, Blogging past Gatekeepers, he outlined the reasons why he blog. Though Mike admitted, “it stopped him cold” when Valeria Maltoni initially asked him “why he blog?”.

With the 2007 Philippine Blog Awards on full gear, just the thought of having these finest blogs owned and maintained by Filipinos is already an accomplishment. Not to mention the possibility that there may be more out there. But why do Filipinos blog? What’s into blogging that more and more Pinoys, both professionals and young people alike are getting addicted to it, like Pam Pastor.
