Corp. Social Responsibility

As I hop around the blogosphere, am kinda surprise that I’m the only Filipino (?), as of this writing, that has blogged so far of “Earth Day”. This event, however, was talked about in the international blogosphere. In this note, before I continue my series on “How to lose your job”, please allow me to discuss more about the subject and what bloggers all over has to say

“We do business for profit”, that is one common statement I hear from entrepreneurs.
Though making money is not necessarily bad, governments, specially that of the first world, have set guidelines to ensure a minimum Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is observed.
To some, CSR and profit making don’t mix well.
