Business Economic Briefing For HR Practitioners

February 3rd, 2010

Last January 21, 2010, I attended the session on Business Economic Briefing For HR Practitioners spearheaded by Ariva!

Glad I was there because it confirmed my initial thoughts  and I was able to align some of my plans with what is happening in the local business front.  I think all those who attended benefited from the session, read  what others have to say

The topics are very relevant and informative. The facilitators is knowledgeable and experts on their respective specialization. Hope you have trainings/seminars that are specifically cater to the BPO / Call center industry.
- Christine A. Pajares - PACIFIC CONNEXION CONSULTING PHILS. INC.

The ARIVA Staffs are very friendly and efficient. The facilitators had good subject matter knowledge. They presented / gave a talk interesting. - Joy C. Bernal – PHILIPPINE EDUCATIONAL THEATER ASSOCIATION, INC.

Of course I liked all the topics discussed because it’s very informative. It’s a good learning experience. ARIVA organized the seminar very well. The facilitators are very knowledgeable and they discussed the topics well and very informative.
- Eunice B. Manguiat - BANK OF COMMERCE

I loved meeting new friends in the HR world and got to know their best practitioners thru their sharing and inputs. This is the best ever I’ve attended. The facilitators are very inspiring. Highly recommendable… ARIVA
- Orfelina C. Catalan - RIZAL POULTRY & LIVESTOCK ASSOCIATION, INC.

Great! The fact that ARIVA pursue some advocacy directions. The ARIVA staffs are very approachable, accommodating and know how to take care of their clientele. The speakers are good and experts in their respective fields.  If  my company would allow me, I would like to attend another ARIVA seminars. - Earvene Jared S. Cunanan - BATANGAS STATE UNIVERSITY

Thank you for the opportunity to attend this excellent program!- -Anonymous-

The two presentations were excellent! I liked the videos as introduction & can relate to the topics. The facilitators were excellent. One day training was not enough to discuss everything.  Lack of time for open forum for the 2nd presentation.
-Shirly P. Bulac - IBIDEN PHILS., INC.

Great speakers! Applause!!! The facilitator are lively. Hindi ako inantok the whole day. I shall commend you in the HR Philippines yahoo group. -Engracio Abad, Jr. - POSCO (PMPC)

Blogwatch [dot] PH

November 17th, 2009

Blog Watch was conceived from lessons learned in 2004 elections through PCIJ traning of 3 bloggers,  where focus of traditional media was on celebrity, scandals, election violence, mudslinging & scandals- exchange of accusations between parties and politicians becomes “entertainment”, campaign becomes talent show, candidates being contestants etc

Blog Watch is hosted by Vibal Foundation’s Philippine Online Chronicles and will be  launched on November 24, 2009, from 11 am to 2 pm at the Max’s Restaurant in Bel-Air, Makati City

Blog Watch intends to cover underplayed stories in various formats (podcast, video, articles, commentaries) that will complement traditional media, such as stories that promote voters’ education and automated elections, campaign fund sources and expenditures, background of candidates, personal background, political background. This will be different from the past 2004 election where focus was on celebrities, scandals, election violence, mudslinging, exchange of accusations between parties, and where politicians have become “entertainers”, campaigns have become talent show, and even candidates have come in the form of “contestants”.
