The long Christmas break allowed me to bond with my kids and observe one of their favorite cartoon, errr, anime.
Phineas and Ferb
If you don’t have a kid yet, most likely, you are not aware of this Disney program. I’ve been hearing from the background the audio of this show and I don’t like the bickering of the siblings.
I remember reprimanding my kids before for watching this type of cartoon because, in my assumption, they are emulating the behavior of the characters. My kids are a teen boy and a tween girl, and they do argue.
My thoughts about the cartoon changed when I watched this with them.
Though it depicts a scenario of sibling rivalry common to growing up kids, it’s epic fun given the drive of the brothers [Phineas and Ferb] for creativity, for fun and exploration. This, to me, is a good way to influence kids to be creative and explore. A lesson for adults and leaders too.
Sounds like a good tip, thanks. I will show it to my youngest
