Win Some Lose Some In 2009

While planning for 2010, don’t forget to look back at your performance for the past year (2009).

Looking back, I have done better in some areas, and perform badly on others. One area that I performed poorly, among others, is that I blogged less beginning the 3rd Quarter of last year causing the Alexa ranking of this blog to drop.  Yes, I successfully opened new blogs but I just don’t have enough time to update all. The demands of daytime job is simply too much. Likewise, I successfully opened a new stream of income by selling online and doing consultancy on web 2.0 marketing. I did well on the Marketing of health products but unable to keep up with customer demands, again, because of the requirements of my daytime job.

One area I did well is the discipline to exercise.  Look at what I look like December of 2008 and compare it with a 2009 pic.

I did well also on networking, thanks to Noemi, I became one of the contributors of Blogwatch.ph

There were  lecturing opportunities this year too. Here are 2 of the engagements I had.

HR Policies on Use of Social Media @ 3rd HR Philippines National Convention

Personal Branding and Web 2.0 before Marketing graduates

There were hard  lessons I learned in 2009, and with God’s help, I hope to rectify these on 2010. Likewise, I hope to focus my strength and effort to what I enjoy most doing…. and to what I think God wants me to do this year. One thing is certain though, I will be more active in blogging.

See you around folks!
