Tithes is intended for church operations and for the pastors. In this way, if church is established and members are faithful tithers, the pastors need not to have a daytime job or business.

Hello, Sonnie. I have a little challenge for you. Do you think you have heard all of what God has for us to understand on tithing. I have at least ten scriptural points that I am sure you have NEVER HEARD. Would you go for a challenge like that? YOu can say yes or no on every point and then say yes or no on their validity for the discussion on tithing.

IMO, tithing is the one of the ingredients that will deliver the poor from their poverty. It works for me. Besides, to tithe is a personal decision, nobody should force someone to tithe because unless it is done freely, it’s useless,

That word in Malachi 3 that is translated ‘rob’, is used in only one other place in the bible. It is in Proverbs 22:23. God says He will spoil (rob) the soul of them who spoil (rob) the poor. Those who collect so called tithes from the poor are the ones who are cursed by God. Remember, under the Old Covenant, the poor received relief from tithing. Under the heretical teachings of modern tithe teachers, the poor are oppressed.
