Hunger + Self Confidence + Training = Achievement

December 7, 2008 · by Sonnie · Salt and Light

Once again, Philippine boxing great Manny Pacquiao has made Filipinos proud when he stopped the legendary Oscar Dela Hoya via TKO.  Trainer Freddie Roach ensures his ward is not only up to the task but also have the right strategy and battle plan.

Defying the odds, fear and disbelief of critics and friends alike, Manny pursued greatness by defying public opinion and by trainig hard. His passion to bring honor to his country as well as carve a name for himself in boxing history outweighs his own limitation. Thus, earlier today, (Manila time), he made history.
