A New Browser In Town
Update 9/6/08: This post from verITableLIFE is interesting. According to the blogger,
When reading the Google Chrome EULA, I was SHOCKED. Posting anything via Google Chrome gives Google the right to your content. Why is this bad, well for the blogging community, a bloggers content is what makes a site worth visiting and unique; if bloggers start to post pages using Google Chrome, they no longer have a unique post…..it becomes the property of Google as well.
~o~
There is a new browser in town, and this will surely give Firefox, Safari and Opera a good fight.
Introducing… Google Chrome
My initial experience:
- As fast as FireFox.
- Easy to Navigate
- User friendly
- BUT, YouTube is not working here. (I still can’t figure out why)
This will make Google more powerful as this tool will give them more and wider access and control to information. Possession of info is POWER, it yields the same power and influence as money can give.
I will give you more report as I get close with this new browser. Have you tried it? Care to share your experience?

I agree - Google Chrome is quite a nice browser. Much nicer than the Internet Explorer… But I don’t think it can match Firefox yet… I have written a little bit about Chrome here: http://technology-nuggets.blogspot.com/2008/09/google-chrome-another-great-product.html

Thanks for the link back…..I am pleased to announce that Google has decided to modify their EULA, eliminating the section that originally concerned me.
I am now using Google Chrome more frequently; however, I would also like to state that the new browser does have some flaws.

At first use I instantly fell in love with chrome. I love the speed and the design too. But what made me go back to Firefox is that chrome always hangs up. I don’t know if it is chrome or my pc but using Firefox is a more convenient way now than using chrome. Anyways, Firefox is not that turtle-speed to be ignored. Plus, I love the noscript add-on which helps me in EC dropping. Hehe.

An update to your update, Google retracted section 11 of their terms of service which you’re probably well aware of. Now it reads:
11.1 You retain copyright and any other rights you already hold in Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services.
