Nature Tripping

Last weekend, wifey and I brought the kids to a not so near eco-park.

Kids of this generation, unless raised in a province, have little exposure on nature. With more malls being built, open parks are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Specially for urban dwellers.

We took this time to show kids the water shed where Metro Manila get it’s water supply. We also took time to look for spiders, catch  dragonflies and go fishing.

This is far better than playing PS2, malling, or watching DVD coupled with home theater lighting.

Here are some of the pics:

Pre, is this the one in La Mesa Dam? I still haven’t been there even though I was planning for the longest time now to also bring my family there.

Hi Kirhat,

Yes, this is the La Mesa Dam watershed/eco park managed by ABS-CBN, the one at Fairview.

Good place for bonding, stretching muscles, swimming or just picnic with family.
