I Want This
After I paid my bill at a wireless center, I saw this Camera Phone and almost bought one. Well, almost, but I was able to exercise restraint. Thru the years, I learned to defer pursuing something that I wanted badly. I will only proceed when I’m rational and lless not emotional. For the last 6 years, l never bought a phone. I always receive a free phone from my provider every 2 years, plus another cell phone issued by my employer.
I need, however, a handy camera to capture important moments and/or scenery. But the thought of carrying more than one gadget is already uhh!.
I need an all in one toy– good camera, phone and modem for instant internet connection via 3G when wi-fi is not available. Maybe this one is the answer. Do you think this is best buy?

Hello po! I heard LG is getting popular lately because of it’s Nokia-type navigation (read: easy /user-friendly). The LG flip phone KP-215 I got last night from Adi Telecom was a steal. (it’s an extra phone I did not want to spend a fortune on) - for it’s price, it can be considered loaded. It carries 2gb micro sd, plus I have softwares from dictionaries, King James version Bible and four devotionals in namely TGIF, PPP, Streams in the Desert and Daily in Christ. I also have a groceries software, among others. I guess LG is really giving us value for our money. And this handset is not even 5k! This is really something. Anyway, I second the motion with what Migs suggested. N82 is the best pick for that all in one phonecam. Its camera already has a Xenon flash like that of the real digital cam. Check the comparison of the two models http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone2=2070&idPhone1=2177God bless po! Happy blogging!

hmmm…
nothing beats the iPHONE.
i heard that Globe will bring it here in the Philippines sometime in the latter part of the year. Keep some more restraint till then. or ask some friends in the States to send you the 3G version if you need it immediately. hehe.

Hi Boss, nah dont go wrong with buying an LG. Stick with a company that’s been proven to deliver only the best products and has good customer support etc.
I’d suggest you might want to look at this on my blog >>

@ All,
Checked N82, though it have better features, I don’t like the looks. BTW, it’s cheaper than LG by 2K. Am on the look for the 8.1 Megapixel phone camera of SE. But can we use SE phones as modem? Sorry for my ignorance.
I’m not a huge fan of the IPhone. I like LG phones for their form and functionality. I’m soooo in love with the LG Prada phone. I’m sure you’ll fall for it too
Good luck deciding!

Sir ses,
After using and reviewing a lot of mobile phones.. i found out that its not the looks that matters most.. but the features and how you maximize its use. Pero sad to say, a lot of users still go for the looks. =p
Yes, the SE phone can be used as modem. Just not quite sure yet if 3G-3.5G or 7++G ang capability niya. it will also have wifi.
I blogged about it here:

ok ba tong LG KP 215?
balak kong bumili as backup phone. my first LG is an LG KG 245, and it is still going well for two years now.
kung ok to, bili ako. $59 na lang dito sa australia. so mga P2,400 lang to sa pesos. pwede.
PhP 2,400! That’s cheap! It’s a real nice phone. I’m carrying it with a 2GB external memory. 1 month in and it’s still doing good. I love its being compact and all the nokia like features. ![]()

Just want to share my opinion and related research to camera phones:
1. Don’t be fooled by megapixels. The more important thing is image quality. N82 has better image quality but I find the design not so good (not classy enough).
2. LG viewty has a different interface (touch UI). It will be a different phone use experience.
3. Never compare this with iphone since they are of different classification/ type. iphone will never beat the camera and videorecording capabilities of viewty. However, viewty won’t keep up with iphone’s fast UI and internet capabilities (wifi+3G at 7.2mbps!).
4. The choice of phone will be greatly determined by your personality. It would be to your advantage if all your basic requirement will be met by the specs of a particular handset.
5. LG Viewty will give you both style and function.
IMHO, I find LG viewty a value for money due to: one of the best camera capability, videorecording (may be better than any other phone and even digicams since it can record ar 120fps), video playback (including DivX formats), full touch screen UI (new experience), 4 way message typing, fast 3G (3.6mbps), very stylish and quality furnish for just P19k+! Some distributors are also giving LG KP215 free for every purchase.
That’s all! Thanks!
PS: Look for LG KU990R Viewty (it has lens cover)

Sir ses…
Dont buy one muna.. wait for the 8 megapixel camera phone of Sony Ericsson.
But if you are buying a 5 megapixel camera now, i suggest you buy the N82.
