Same thing is happening with my 2 well-trafficked blogs. Funny though, my other blog that is barely receiving 100 hit a day has grown from 800k to 200k in less than 2 weeks.
Other blogger in the EC community are experiencing the same thing. Dunno really what’s wrong with Alexa, and till now no one can give a definitive answer.
I think there is something else significantly wrong with Alexa. I’ve experienced a similar problem, as I’ve documented here: http://www.orient-lodge.com/node/3036
I’m not sure that it is strictly EntreCard. My traffic, according to Alexa has dropped to substantially less than it was before I added EntreCard. However, I still get as much non-EntreCard traffic. In addition, while it is showing my US traffic decreasing, it is showing my non-US traffic increasing.
So, what do you do? First, report the problem to Alexa. We should get everyone to file bug reports with Alexa. Then, continue to write about it. If Alexa can’t fix their bugs, then people need to be driven away from using Alexa to a more reliable system.

Hmmmm…seems like the Entre Card effect that I had. More traffic, but higher bounce rate.

Yup, Alexa doesn’t recognize EC traffic.

I think Alexa recognizes EC traffic, or better does not know if it comes from EC or anywhere else.
That said, my ranking seems to decrease, although my traffic keeps increasing. I do not know: ALexa might have changed their algorithms again.

Personally, I use QuantCast
http://www.quantcast.com/orient-lodge.com
They provide much more reliable and detailed information. You need to add the QuantCast pixel to your page.
