A New Season

May 15, 2008 · by Sonnie · Ask Sonnie, Salt and Light

In about a month’s time, there will be a new season in my career. It’s not as simple as changing to a new pair of Merrell shoes, but it’ll be fun and exciting.  I will move to a new and equally prestigious company, as Asst. Vice President for Human Resources.

I filed my resignation last Monday after discussing the matter with my boss. It’s not easy making that bold decision, neither to my boss to accept my resignation since I’ve been with the company for the last 10 years. But life will not be colorful if we will not leave our comfort zones. Even caterpillars leave it’s cocoon to become a butterfly. I will share with you more of this great blessing after things has settled down. I still need to roll my sleeves and buckle down to work and complete my deliverables for the next 30 days.

As He has always been, God is good!
