The Boss
No I’m not referring to myself but a song popularized by Bruce Springsteen, sometime in the 80’s when I’m still in high school. You may not believe it, but am a rocker too! And Bruce is one of my favorites. I thought the guy is already enjoying a quiet life but he’s still rock’n & rolling. Also known as “the boss”, Bruce rose to fame because his songs identified to ordinary men and women going about their daily lives. His music and style earned him 18 Grammy Awards. His most famous album “born in the USA” has sold 15M albums in the Americas alone. His career started in 1972 with the E Street Band but he became popular in the 80’s. Thru the years, his songs mirror his personal life and his thoughts about American life and politics. His success provide a great lesson in brand management because even after more than 3 decades, his music still has a following. For more than 3 decades, he learned to reinvent and repackage himself and his music. Now he’s back and together with E Street Band has launched his “Magic” album. “The Boss” will also be on tour in North America and Europe supporting his new album, including feature hits “Radio Nowhere” and “Long Walk Home.” If you are on that part of the world and would like to get hold of Bruce Springsteen Tickets, go and visit www.ticketstogo.com for details of the schedule and ticket reservations.

I’m diggin’ The Boss lately due to his endorsement of Barack Obama. Actually I’ve never been a huge fan of his music, but he wrote some good tunes, no doubt.
