The Entrecard Traffic
Entrecard has become like a gold chain to some because of it’s marketing scheme. Bloggers have control over his/her campaign to ensure regular, connected and targeted traffic. Though some believe the new pricing computation and 600 drop limit per ip address have affected the enthusiasm of some bloggers. In a nutshell, this is how entrecard works: Drop your card on the blogs you visit, and in return the dedicated droppers (other bloggers) will also visit your blog and return the favor. By dropping your card and your visitors dropping theirs to your blog, you earn credits (entrecard currency) that will enable you to advertise to sites of your liking. As a consequence of your regular visit and dropping habits, and by placing the entrecard widget in a visitor friendly location, other bloggers will be enticed to place an Ad to your site too, therefore, giving you additional revenue for your own campaign. With these, you’ll have new visitors as a result of (1) bloggers returning your visit and (2) your ads. Since I jumped into the entrecard bandwagon, my traffic increased by 200-400 page views. The increased in pageviews has also resulted to an increase of clicks on my ads. And to ensure the additional visits are not hot air, I am now working to decrease my bounce rate by developing relations to blogs of similar interest and niche. Though entrecard has been in the blogosphere for a while, not all has tried it’s marketing scheme. And to my blog buddies, there is no harm in trying. You have control to promote your blog in a specific country and niche, and can give you another good source of traffic. this is actually helping other bloggers because the ad prices had gone up. As to the drops, i’m limiting it to 40-50 a day. it’s time consuming. I’ve bookmarked those sites which I’d frequent.

Indeed, dropping cards are time consuming, specially if either your internet connection is slow or you have other better things to do.. I limit my drops to those who are regular visitors of this site
I have been an entrecarder for a few months now. I do perfer the old system much better, but I am willing to give this way a try (for now), Entrecard has helped me and my blog and for that, I am grateful.
I am also very grateful of your kind thoughts and condolences for my mom. She is in a better place now with no pain or suffering and I take joy that I will one day see her again. May God continue to bless you.

I’ve been an entrecard member for about a month now. I prefered it the other way. This way is a little to confusing to me. Not to mention I don’t have the time to surf for hours at a time. This was a great informative post.
