It's not about Manny knocking out Manuel it's just that Manuel actually did performed better and won more rounds. He landed more clear blows although Manny threw more punches. It was a really close fight but what saved Manny was the knockdown at the third round and his never say die spirit. The judges saw that and gave him the split decision win.
