Last week, I received an invitation from Yehey for the bloggers meet-up with you tube sensation Christine Gambito, also known as Happy Slip. Christine was brought here by Department of Tourism to enjoy our gig zones and be the ambassador for tourism.

So off I went to Mag:net Café, Bonifacio High Street for a lunch with other bloggers and fun filled time with Christine, a full blooded Filipina based in the US of A.

Thru this meet-up, I finally met Manuel Viloria, whose blog, I find time to visit. I got to meet new dudes as well like Jonald and Archie. I had a short chat with an old e-buddy, Dine about their advocacy on Uplifting the Filipina Image. They will soon launch http://filipiniana.net/.

The event is worth the (vacation) leave I filed from work just to have a diversion from the regular routines. Herewith are some of the pics.

   that girl christine is really amazing – i like her ‘you tube’ videos ( i stayed up until 1 am just to finish watching all of her posts) and especially like the fact that she injects humor in showcasing her heritage …
