e-Commerce

The advent of internet opened new opportunities to earn, and the emergence of e-commerce has changed buying, selling and the general movement of money.

Not all are gifted with the entrepreneurial instincts. While most are contented to have a 9-5 job, others are passionate to start something new, venture to the unknown and be their own boss. The internet has removed barriers of time and location, and the opportunities presented are boundless. Unfortunately, there are those who failed to capitalize on these by not establishing the presence of their business online.

As online shopping becomes popular so is the need for a reliable, user friendly and fully supported shopping cart software . Newbies and small online business operators need not to be afraid of facing the Goliaths of the e-world of business, because an online business solution does not need not be expensive to be competitive.

On another note, the popularity of blogs and blogging has turned a blogger to a netrepreneur. Bloggers became publishers and the traffic, readership, page rank determines the market value of a site. Blogs became an advertising center. Other bloggers also managed to add a buying and selling page to their blogs and integrated shopping cart solutions to their sites.

Likewise, ordinary (non blog) websites have created or added a blog too, to handle their below level marketing and provide an avenue to get feedback from their (would be) clients.

There are variety of ways to do business in the internet, but one must be willing to unlearn and learn new value adding approaches:

  1. Those with established businesses off-line, establish your presence on-line.
  2. Those with on-line business, chose partners who are experts in e-commerce softwares and other solutions.
  3. Those who manage a blog, you may want to earn from your blog. This will not harm you if you do it ethically.
  4. If you have an idea that none has thought of, go for it!
