Juggling Work, Family, Fun And Politics
Though it’s holiday in the Philippines, t’was a busy day (well, at least for me) as I try to live what I preach, work-life-balance.
After posting my musings on the failed rebellion, I asked my son to go with me and fetch my younger sis who just had an elective medical procedure at Medical City, and drive her to their place at Cavite.
Afterwards, we headed home to fetch wifey and daughter so we can catch the 1st birthday celebration of my niece from another sis, so off we go to Pasig.
In between, I have to take calls from colleagues who needed guidance and my 2 cents advice on HR matters.
After the bonding time with the extended family, we went to Taguig at Market Market so wifey and daughter can spy around while my son and I went to the blogger mixer organized by Shai Coggins, VP of B5 media, and Sasha Manuel.
This was my first meet-up with fellow bloggers after the Philippine Blog Awards and iBlog 3. Good to see again old e-buddies like Juned, Sasha, Analyn, Noime, Jayvee and meet new ones like Jonas, Carlos, Shai and Reinzi.
Too bad, I have to leave early… anyways, there will always be next time. Carlos, we can further discuss the ADD VALUE initiative, and thanks again for the support.

P.S.– I had a hard time looking for a parking space at nearby Market Market, and establishments seems to be packed with people. Hope things are back to normal. Politics in the Philippines is interesting and fun, if you’ll get past despair and fear.

That was awfully sweet of you to bring your son to the blogger party. Though even if he looked bored, at least he gets exposed to social events. Nice meeting up with you again, Sonny.
but my son finds it more fun to go with me than her mom
It was great to meet you too, Sonnie (and your son). Too bad we didn’t chat for long, though. Maybe next time! Thanks again.
Thanks for organizing the event. Til’ next meet up.
