The Death Of A Dream?

Our dream to make it to the olympics basketball at Beijing next year came to an end with the agonizing defeat of SMC-Pilipinas at the hands of the Jordanians.

Is it over?

Have we not learned that world basketball is not about individual talent but team play? Or Pinoys are just jittery since we are not exposed and used to international competition? Or do we just need to accept that a world basketball crown is not for Filipinos?

It will be interesting to observe how the stakeholders will rise to the situation.

playing by yourself is like playing with nobody. basketball is a team game not a game for yourself.

i hope that we learn on this part… and i know that team pilipinas can do it once again…
