Reality Bites

July 14, 2007 · by Sonnie · BTP, Of Muscles

My daughter teased me and her kuya the other day because our “tummy” is getting bigger.

I normally dismiss such comment because I always thought I can manage. Well, not when I noticed that I’m a little uncomfortable now with my pants. My wasteline is 32, and normally, my pants have an allowance of 1 inch. This is BAD!

Time flies, it has been a year since the gym where I work-out closed shop. Since then, I can only manage sporadic jogging, and now I am beginning to “see” the consequence of my inconsistency. Wow, it only shows that my work-life is not so balanced after all. I need to rectify this fast, and alter my lifestyle. Going to Florida for the famous Tampa plastic surgery is not part of the option. Though, if you are from the US of A, why not check it out?

I need to take less calorie or carbo and have more physical activity. Aerobic exercises is good for the heart, but not for burning fats. Need to get hooked on Anabolic activities soon.

I don’t have problem with slow metabolism before, I am skinny. I guess when you get a little wiser and mature, metabolism slows down. In short, am getting old. Reality bites.
