I decided to embark a blog series on human resource management and employment to empower readers– employees, on the issue of “losing ones job”, and entrepreneurs and management alike on how to go about it legally. This will cover due process of law and the provisions of the Philippine Labor Code, on “termination of employment”.
On the coming days, I will attempt to blog on the following:
Hopefully, I will be able to add value to the readers on how they go about corporate life and/or managing the business.

I don’t know if you’ve read this, but a rather creative HR blogger decided to write a blog about the TV show the Office, wherein she estimates the litigation each episode’s hijinks would cost the company. I imagine you’d like it. “That’s What She Said”.
That’s a good topic you have there Sonnie.
Hi Sonnie,
Thanks for the movie tickets but sadly I won’t be able to go because I’ll be at Boracay spending much needed quality time with my girlfriend.
Again, many thanks and my apologies for not being able to cash-in on the reward. XD

Hey Sonnie!
Thanks for the movie tickets! You are just right on time! haha. My finals has ended and you just gave me the good news at the right time.
Thanks.

@ Micket– thanks for the link and you are entitled to the other ticket since Wauks waived his right.
@ Chino– sent you an email and gave you my contact detail so you can enjoy the ticket
@ Baby– thanks Baby but your input will bring spice to the discussion, will look forward to that.
@Wauks– there will be next time, don’t worry
Thank you for that insight and the free ticket.I know whoever got it was glad and learnt something from the movie.I love to watch movies but am disadvantaged by the distance.I would want to hear the feedback from those who managed to watch the movie.
Regards.
Margaret
That was quite an in-depth explanation on termination however I find them rather bookish. What I would like to see is something that has to do with termination due to poor performance and how you go about it as a Human Resource practitoner. Congratulations on your very successful blog.
