Manny Pacquiao

Scary fight. Everyone expected Pacquiao to dispose Solis in the early rounds, instead Manny can’t connect, and at certain point, received barage of punches. The scariest point was when Manny had a deep cut due to headbut.

Manny winning by KO is not news anymore, but the news, at least for me, is his ability to answer the questions is English spontaneously! Certainly, he has done this before, but his spoken English is far better now. Not perfect, but definitely better.

I disagreed with some decisions of Manny, but one lesson other Pinoys can learn is Manny’s boldness to speak in English even though “barok”. His boxing skills is not the only one improving, but his third language as well.

So for the bloggers would be who are afraid to write because of possible grammatical and spelling error, you will definitely err, but the skill will not improve unless you apply and practice. Don’t be afraid to publish your first blog entry.

Speak And Surf

Perhaps because of heavy traffic during the long (Lenten) holidays, internet speed is so S L O W. I tell you, it’s slower than dial up connection. Likewise, their wireless phone signal sucks! Either you’ll lose your connection or you wouldn’t understand each during call because of the choppy signal. What else can I do except to call their customer service?

I was surprise though, that someone from their technical csr will now take your call! The last time I had a problem, hotline is not so hot– no one will take your call. And though you can contact the the csr of globelines, they can not help you either. It took more than two weeks before my concern was attended. Not until I get in touch with friends inside globe and advised the technical group that I am about to bring the complaint to top management.

As I mentioned, things are different this time– someone took my call, guided me via phone to tweak the settings and within 3 days, someone visited our place. Being a none geek, I was given tips how to tweak the modem to get the best signal available.

I can not give the same compliment, however, for the wireless phone service. Instead of losing my patience, might as well use the cell phone. No improvement yet on the signal since we filed the complaint 2 weeks ago.

I inquired if I can switch to another globe product (speak and surf to broadband bundle), the response is on the negative because am under contract for 24 months. Heck, am not jumping to another service provider but only to a different product line.

Manny’s trainer said that he played around with Solis - which is definitely a bad sign for Pacman. If he does this kind of stuff with stronger opponents like Barrera or Marquez, we will see our beloved champion fold and crumple to the ground. x.x

I hope you can help me out. I want to send a complaint to the top management of Globelines because of their unbelievable incompetence and disgustingly bad customer service. My application for 2 business landlines have been pending for almost a month now because they’ve “lost” my data twice and yet their incompetent agents would just always tell me to just wait for the installation whenever i would follow up. Despite my request for feedback, no one has bothered to give me a return call.

Do you know the email address of anyone from top management? I really would like to file a complaint on how they need to work on (to say the least) their customer service.
