1st Day of iBlog3
The venue is bigger compared to iblog2, accommodating more bloggers. The tracks I appreciated are as follows (don’t get me wrong though, all presentations are good):
- Do’s and Don’ts of Personal Blogging (Lauren Dado)
- What every business person should know about blogging (Arelle Valla)
- Literary Blogging Experience, Observations, and Trends (Dean Alfar)
- Blogging and Freedom of Expression in ASEAN (Roby Alampay, SEAPA)
- Bloggers Code of Ethics (Emerson Banez)
- Blogging and Copyright Law (Atty. Jaime Soriano)
Tomorrows’ session is more interesting, check this value packed line up:
- Abraham Olandres: Blogging Success Story (Philippines’ Most Read Blogger)
- Photoblogging Success Story (Anton Diaz)
- Philippine Politics and the Blogosphere (Manuel L. Quezon III)
- Podcasting/Videocasting Growth Trends (Wilson Chua of eRadioPortal.)
- Blogging / Web Marketing Trends (Aileen Apolo of Google.)
- The New Prosumer (Norman Agatep of Euro 4D.)
- Blogging and Investigative Journalism (Alecks Pabico of PCIJ)
- Blogging as Mainstream Media (Angelo Racoma of the Blog Herald)
- TV Journalism and Blogging (Malou Mangahas of GMA Network)
- Blogging for advancing one’s career (Marc Hil Macalua)
- Professional blogging (Jayvee Fernandez)
- Increasing blog popularity (Gail Dela Cruz – Villanueva)
It appears (to me) that more can still be accommodated basing it on today’s turnout. If you can, go check out and don’t miss tomorrows’ session.
Great meeting you in the flesh today Sonnie! See you tomorrow!
