My heart also breaks whenever i see the same scenario especially if the street kid reminds me of one of mine. This compelled me to sponsor at least one child from the less-privileged sector thru World Vision. I don't want to advertise anything but i'm just glad that an independent org like this can subsidize my very small monthly pledge to help a child go to school and take care of her other basic needs as well. thanks for a very insightful payer list reflective, i believe, of the feelings of most of your readers.
