The Future of the Philippines
A group of students from Philippine Science High School have embarked on a project entitled “Pisay Meets World“. Felize Mendoza left a comment in my post “Meet the E.K.’s” and requested to have their short video displayed on this blog.
These young people are the key to the future of this nation, we may not see the changes we all aspire for in our generation, but all is not lost to these kids. They need all the support from us.
To Felize and your group– in your quest for excellence, never ever forget the only nation we’ve got…

indeed, these fine young boys and girls have produced an excellent project, and i just hope that their bright spirits are not dampened with what is going on in today’s economic situation, exodus to foreign lands, and the political scene.
always a great feel to see our youth aspiring for their future not only for themselves but for their country. i commented in another blog that our youth of today are challenged to make a difference now and not when they finish college.
unfortunate but true. i also mentioned that today they can be an effective power of change. i hope and pray that they do it.
I hope these kids would hold on to the burning flame inside of them and conquer every challenge that comes in their way… Sooner or later.. they would not only succeed, but inspire and pass it on to others as well.
@ Sir Martin– kids need all our support and guide
@sexy mom– we should not allow the enthusiasm of these kids to be dampened with our proper guidance.
@dodo– this will only be possible if they go past the gatekeepers
@migs– yes migs, this will only be possible with our mentoring
[…] Of late, blogs are slowly being utilized for education, like what Sir Martin and his “pisay” studes has […]

[…] I found this video thanks to Sex Mom and Sonnie’s Porch. It’s about a project of the ’scholars for the people’ wherein they showcase the possibilities and hope in today’s youth. We’ve heard of this since time immemorial right? So why even bother listening to them? Simply because, whether we like it or not, they are the future. […]
