How to succeed and get rich?

pagsanjan_00361.jpgWho, in this world, does not want money? Perhaps those who belong to a religious sect that believes all material things are evil. On this post, please allow me to share my reflections on how to succeed and get rich and I hope this will add value to you. There are many books about the subject and there are many principles involve. But allow me to share at least two.

Of the many principles involving success and wealth accumulation, two of the basic principles are as follows:

  • Your spoken word
  • Hard work

The Power of your words

People don’t recognize they release such influence in the unseen world by their words. This can either be positive words of faith– victorious words, words that uplift and encourage. Or words of fear — these are either words of pessimism, words of discord, deception and alike. Consider these nuggets of wisdom:

Prov. 12 :14People will be rewarded for what they say, and they will also be rewarded for what they do. (NCV)

Prov. 13:2People will be rewarded for what they say, but those who can’t be trusted want only violence. (NCV)

Prov. 13:3Those who are careful of what they say protect their lives, but whoever speaks without thinking will be ruined. (NCV)

Though this principle is not new, not all are aware. And those who knew just don’t care. Likewise, this may not be found on great business books, this is equally powerful and important as other success principle. However, this is not a stand alone principle, one who observe this but ignored the other principles is also bound to fail.

The Old School of Hard Work

Yes, you read it correctly. HARD WORK. This does not mean working stupidly, as others may think, but smartly. Working hard is not confined to manual labor, it also involves mind and heart work.

When one reaches for his goal, before anything else, a plan and strategy is a must. This process may involve systemic and linear thinking. Generally a Mind Work.

Likewise, one will not embark on a project– investing his resources and energy, if the project is not his passion. Passion involves a lot of Heart Work.

Most employees are allergic to hard work. But not the entrepreneurs. It is their life– money, resources and passion, that is on the line. Take time to read the mantra’s of successful entrepreneurs. They do not work for 8 hours, they are on call 24/7. Their business is their life. And the people working for them don’t get it.

if you are one of those who wish to be successful and wealthy one day, whether as an entrepreneur or working for someone, do not delete HARD WORK from your vocabulary.

Prov. 13:4The lazy will not get what they want, but those who work hard will. (NCV)

Prov. 12:27The lazy catch no food to cook, but the hard worker will have great wealth. (NCV)

Prov. 12:24Hard workers will become leaders, but those who are lazy will be slaves. (NCV)
