Oh wow Cubao!

I still live in the area a hop away from Aurora Blvd and our house was the only one on the street and everywhere was grass! Hard to imagine!

Nostalgia hit when I saw the picture of Prudential Bank and the Shell station (which is now McDonalds and a bank). Funny thing is PNB is still PNB (upper right).

Ive so many pictures and you gave me inspiration to scan and frame them in my house (much like Cafe Bola restos). Thanks for this!

Great pix! Do you have pictures of old avenida during night? with those sparkling neon lights, we use to shop during night ‘coz its much fun then.

do have old pictures of the BROWN DERBY restaurant which was locate on taft avenue in manila near PGH? iwas still a small boy when my dads’ family used to run the place.and i don’t have pictures to show my children that their grandfather was the owner of that place.
