Speak and Surf Review

update (12/17/07):

because of difficulty making and connecting calls, and slow internet connections, I finally returned my SnS and discontinued my subscription effective today. A promising product that can’t take off because of frequency limitations.

I have been using Globe Innove’s Speak and Surf for more than a week, and so far, satisfied with the value added result.

Phone:

If as a family we are going out, we bring the phone with us and use it anywhere as a cell phone. Though, like a cell phone, sometimes it is also choppy. Text message is free but cell calls are P 12.50 (not ok).

Internet:

Max speed I got is 268 kbps and lowest is 65 kbps. Average is 156. No down time yet but when the weather is not good, the speed fluctuates.

    Hi,
I live in BF Resort Las Pinas and one time we verified (a Stearle agent went to my house and called me at my office. Stearle is the authorized reslleer covering our area, they are based on Bicutan area) that the voice call works clearly. I plan to subscribe this January 2007 if they have available units. Do you think I should go for this? Thanks.

I am techie person but I havent seen anyone who have used this real-time. Maybe I can call you on your landline? pls text me at 0920-9519274 so that we can proceed. Thanks again.
