Being a Filipino and Asian, I can’t help but respect and be proud of Manny Pacquiao, World Boxing Champ and one of the popular Asian boxers today in the world, if not the best. His feat has added value to our race and heritage.
However, before the fight early this morning. I expected Manny to lose because of the distractions, short training and notable changes in his attitude after he floored Eric Morales last January. Good for Manny, Chololo Larios, a Mexican fighter with a lot of heart, is not as skillful as him.
Manny Pacquiao undoubtedly has gone a long way– in his boxing skills, popularity and wealth. What brought him to his present stature is the no fear attitude. I hope the people, situations and environment where he is right now will not alter his attitude.
Am looking forward now to the 3rd re-match between him and Eric Morales this November. I hope he will continue to win and inspire other people to go beyond their comfort zone, believe on themselves and pursue their dreams. Success is within reach if one will work hard and smart for it.
