As planned, I filed my vacation leave to attend and participate in the 2nd Philippine Blogging Summit yesterday at UP College of Law, Diliman Q.C.
I met Atty. Fred Pamaos , proud owner of Atty-at-Work blog. He moderated the panel discussion on “Political Blogging” with Manuel L. Quezon III and Davao City Councilor Peter Lavina .
I am privileged to chat also with Mike Abundo who was the resource person on “Shameless Promotion: How To Be Heard In A Referral World”. Young, dynamic and full blooded blogger.
T’was a “P” (productive) day– I enjoyed the discussions on “Professional Blogging” by Abe Olandres , J Angelo Racoma, Marc Hil Macalua and Charo Nuguid. And the discussion on “Avoiding Libel, Plagiarism, Copyright Infringement And Other Pitfalls” by Atty. Marvin Aceron and Atty. Bong Dizon.
Check the iBlog website for news or perhaps a copy of the discussion materials and/or podcast of the sessions.
For the HR strategist out there… blogging and podcasting can add value to our work output. This the next major medium in communication, after text messaging. This can be used not only in marketing and promotions, but also in human capital management.
