Sometimes being a friend means mastering the art of timing. There is a time for silence. A time to let go and allow people to hurl themselves into their own destiny. And a time to prepare to pick up the pieces when it’s all over.

Hello dear readers. It’s been a long while since I had my last post. My apologies, I’ve been busy with the day time job and a lot of consultancy on the sides. Not to mention the time I spend with my new found love… running. Ha ha ha
Alright, we blogged a lot about personal branding both online and on the real world, and this is more on positioning our career in the marketplace. We also discussed about using web 2.0 to our advantage. But there are corporations and clients that are looking beyond what you can bring to the table, more than the skills they are looking at the added value you’ll bring to the organization.img src=”http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/PersonalBranding/~4/ISqVyq_yFKw” height=”1″ width=”1″/

This post is long overdue, but I have 2nd thoughts publishing because I may be misunderstood.
After reading the blog post of an old e-buddy, will a blog survive without an audience? , I kinda reflect and look at how I started blogging and where it led me. I have to admit, at one point, I lost focus and became conscious of blog metrics, blog income, and blog recognition.

While these are not necessarily bad, it can rob us of the simple joys of blogging, the one we have when we are just starting.

But if we live in the light, as God is in the light, we can share fellowship with each other. Then the blood of Jesus, God’s Son, cleanses us from every sin. — 1 John 1:7 (New Century Version)
Just want to share with you what I learned in my quiet time. I am praying for God to lead me from temptation as there are serious ones I am facing lately. As I read my bible, this passage blessed me.
So how do we maintain a clean life?
1. Have a conscious effort to live right by connecting to God.
2. But this is not enough. We must connect with other believers. Spending time with people who thinks like you, believes like you strengthens you. It’s difficult to stand your ground if your environment and the people around you thinks otherwise.
3. The two acts above will lead to further “purification”, thus sinful desires and memories are cleansed.
